Artist's description:

Pictured here is the Maronite Church of Our Lady Of Lebanon in Harissa, Lebanon. Our Lady of Lebanon is a pilgrimage site and shrine to Mary, mother of Jesus. Harissa, though a small mountain town, is incredibly important because of this. The Maronites are an offshoot of Catholicism; the majority of Christians in Lebanon belong to this sect. Mary's statue stands at the top of the church with open hands pointing outward, overlooking Beirut. You can actually climb all the way to the top as well!

Materials used:

Special fine art metallic photo paper mounted on 3x board (no matting or framing necessary)

Harissa Haze (2016)
