‘Harbour’ is a mixed media collage/assemblage on canvas. The canvas size is 20cm x 20cm with a depth of 3.5cm and combines tissue paper, canvas fabric, a photograph transfer, threads, dried grass stems and acrylic paint. Two small pebbles collected from a beach on the island of Lesvos are arranged on the surface of the canvas.

‘Harbour’ is inspired by thoughts and memories of time in the most beautiful town of Molyvos located on the north coast of the Greek island of Lesvos.

Materials used:

canvas fabric, tissue paper, threads, photograph, acrylic paint, dried grass stems, found pebbles
