Original artwork description:
This stylized painting is done in oil on canvas with a gloss varnish. It is based on one of my favourite places, 'Westbury Court Gardens' in Gloucestershire. This wonderful garden is full of topiary shapes sticking up like giant teeth and long, long corridors of immaculately clipped hedging to run along. It's a bit like being a piece on a huge green games board of some sort and transports me straight into an 'Alice in Wonderland' type fantasy as soon as I arrive. There is even croquet!
