Artist's description:

The Great Tit, with its distinctive two-syllable song, is the largest UK tit. It is slightly smaller in size than a house sparrow. In winter it joins with blue tits and others to form roaming flocks which scour gardens and countryside for food.

This is a digital media manipulation of a photograph. It is processed into a work of art using a digital printing process combining pigment based inks with high quality acid free quality photo paper. The resulting giclée prints are of superior archival quality. It is signed and numbered on the back of the print. Frame is shown for context purposes only.

The process and technique in creating my artworks starts with the result of my own experiences and observations. Throughout the years, as an artist, I have learned to see what is around me, then take those observations and manipulate their elements to the end of creating a work of art. I apply what is deep within myself to my work in order to create a work representative of my interpretation of the world. I will often take the essence of reality and bring it a step further, using fantasy to the extent that it will enhance my final work. - Varo
