One of a series of paintings on ceramic panels that I am working on of one of England's finest gardens.Great Dixter was made famous by Christopher Lloyd and is in Northiam,East Sussex, not far from my home. It is a most rewarding place to visit and paint.
This particular painting is of the house from the meadow with the formal hedges in the foreground. I have painted it on a ceramic panel, made and painted in my studio in Sussex. I have developed this style of painting over many years and have exhibited in many shows. The panels are high fired in my kiln then affixed to a painted board and framed in a box frame so that they appear to 'float',the frame is glazed to protect the panel.
