Original two-block linocut print 'Gratteri, Sicily', limited edition. The first block is printed using four colours and the second block is printed in a dark grey (as opposed to the black - see separate listing). This dark grey variation lends a subtlety and blends with the jewel colours of the first block. This is a beautiful design inspired by the picturesque inland Sicilian village of Gratteri, which I have visited, off the beaten tourist track and nestled on the slopes of dramatic mountains. One of a limited edition, which is proving very popular. Hand printed by me (not a reproduction) using artists' quality oil-based ink on high quality archival paper. The image size is an unusual and striking slim portrait format, ideal for that blank narrow bit of wall somewhere! The image dimensions are approximately 145 x 430mm (6" x 17") and, with the artist's signature at the bottom, approximately 145 x 450mm (6" x 18"). Please note that as this is hand printed by me, each item is unique, but that is part of the charm of a linocut print. Dispatched wrapped in tissue paper, in a sturdy 330 x 76mm diameter tube. Some of the images show the print framed, but this listing is for an unframed print.
