Artist's description:

GOODBYE, COKE is for me, acknowledgment that I have said goodbye to my days doing traditional freehand drawings and painting preferring now to work in a digital space producing digital photography and digital art.

The image brings together my love of photography of the past (during the film days) complete with light leaks and my love of painting in acrylic gels and glaze.

The process brings depth and dimension to an otherwise flat photograph in a painterly fashion as if I had painted and glazed the art piece and scratched into the painted surface with a palette knife, distressing the final artwork. Each image in the series is decidedly darker in appearance and tone.

Goodbye, Coke is offered here as a 30.48x45.72cm (12x18 inch) image but I am happy to provide pricing for larger sized.

The image is printed on metallic paper which adds a rich reflective quality.

Materials used:

Canon 7D mkii, Wacom Tablet, Photoshop CC, 2015, Archival Quality Paper
