'Good Thoughts' ....This original drawing is 133mm x 170mm in size and the little hare sits patiently on hand stained paper which gives him an aged appearance like an old calico toy. 'Good Thoughts' has been drawn in pencil and ink and the words have been adapted from the exquisite words of Roald Dahl...and they make so much sense...
Texture and detail has then been added with the skinniest of pen nibs which creates lots of detail to look at close up. I love to experiment with abstract shape and pattern within a drawing and my imagination meanders in a happy way as I draw using words to tell a small tale within the drawing.
