This painting draws inspiration from me entering into a new decade 2020, a new beginning, like a newborn.
The Ancient Greek called chrysanthemum "chrysos anthemon" meaning "golden flower". Inspired me to paint a portrait of bright golden yellow chrysanthemum with decorative pompon feature that proclaims optimism and cheerfulness. The green jade signifies a newborn gift, marking of unconditional love. Trapa Bicornis (Ram Horn Nut) is fruit grows from water plan which float on still water. This painting depicts wealth and long, idle life, a symbolic of serene feeling of harmony and balance, as well as joy and intelligence.
