The meadows of late summer and early autumn are stunning. Standing in a meadow and painting - you can hear and see the most amazing things: bees buzzing, animals scurrying around in the nearby bushes (I always hope that they are small) birds flying about overhead - even the occasional eagle. It just reminds me that there is a whole ecosystem out there! And so much beauty!
