Original artwork description:

Unlike the majority of my artworks, which are composed of organic-wise textures, this series is inspired by the ancient cobblestones streets of Rome, the city I live in.
It is created by placing low parallelepipeds of various thickness and size atop a wood board.
Afterward, several coats of epoxy resin are used to coat the squares, round the edges and welding the piece, then the textured surface is gilded with golden leaf.
The leaf was then aged with jewish bitumen to obtain a warm, lived-in look.
The dark bitumen collected in the recesses enhances the relief.
A final coat of varnish protects the artwork and prevents oxidation.

Dimensions:

cm 55 x 130 x 3.8 - inches 21 5/8 x 51 1/4 x 1 1/2
weight 5.3 kg - lb 11.7

The interior views are to approx. scale, please measure your wall to ensure
proper fit.
Actual colours may vary due to photography & computer settings.
The artwork is ready to hang with 2 hidden hook.
