Question for the artist?

Artist's description:

My artworks are created through a very old photographic process named “Wet Plate Photography”, this process was invented around 1850. The process starts off with cutting glass (I use the sizes 5x7”, 7x7” and 8x10”), then the glass plate is covered with Collodion (a mix of gun cotton, alcohol and ether). The glass plate is now ready to go into the silverbath to make it sensitive for light. The plate is placed in an old wooden cassette and put into the camera, now you shoot your composition. After exposing, the glass plate gets developed, fixed and cleaned by water.
After this old process I scan the glass plate with a high-resolution professional scanner, and it’s ready to be printed on a substrate.
I have it printed first onto Fujicolor photo paper, then mounted under glossy acrylic glass using an elastic silicone adhesive. A sturdy aluminium Dibond panel is then added for stability.
The size for this Artwork is 60x60 cm, you can frame it or hang directly on the wall with 2 sticky hanging strips or hooks.
From this "WetPlate" original there will only 10 prints available.
4 in de size, 60x60 cm on acrylic/dibond
4 in de size, 80x80 cm on acrylic/dibond
2 to be specified by the buyer.
