Artist's description:

When I stayed in Ireland as artist in residence I stayed in a little village called Ballycastle. The trees where crowded with craws. They had their own community and I was watching them a lot doing their dayly things. I see similarity with human communication and life. There is another painting beneath this painting. You can still see it in the circles in the air. The yellow flower belongs to another period in my life. For me it was very special to do this, to show that life goes on and time changes. It gave me a feeling of freedom. With a pencil I was drawing the trees in the wet paint.
