This painting is part of my 'Glass Reflections' range where glass objects and often flowers are placed on a mirrored surface to allow light and colour to be picked up throughout the canvas.
Peonies are really beautiful flowers and have such a strong yet such a soft romantic appeal which I wanted to capture through using soft hues throughout the painting. I have a beautiful pink bell jar/demi jar that complements the floral tones of the peonies perfectly and it is the first time I have used coloured glass in this range.

The canvas is painted around the sides and therefore is ready to hang.
