I painted this of my daughter about a year ago from a picture of her from perhaps 2 years ago. I didn't know at the time that I would be dedicating a good deal of my time to a series on her, female empowerment, and equality. In the world of #metoo, I want to ensure my daughter every opportunity to build her confidence, her sense of self and empowerment, and the ability to stand up for herself and others. My lovely wife is one of the most amazing role-models, and I am fortunate enough to be able to document her progress.
