ArtNews (June 2013) had an article about Johannes Vermeer and artists creating variations on his work, including his most famous painting, Girl With A Pearl Earring. I had already been planning to apply the neo-divisionist style to some classic works of art, so I thought this painting was a good place to start.
This work of art is acrylic paint on archival quality stretched canvas that is 16" in width, 20" in height, with a stretcher depth of 1.5" -- it is fully stretched, with no staples on the side. It is an original work of art, not a print or reproduction. It is sold unframed and is ready for a suitable framing of your choice. The sides of the painting are painted black for easy and immediate display. The painting is signed on the front by the artist. Please note that colors may vary slightly from the actual painting due to variations in my camera and your monitor. Painting is carefully shipped with postal insurance and includes a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist. This image is Copyright ©2013 by Randal Huiskens.
