This is a very different image for me. During September this year (2020), I joined an online series of sessions by an artist called Sally Hirst. My love of the medium of oils and cold wax led me to want to move further and advance my skills. I initially learned the techniques with an American artist, namely, Jerry McLauchlin, who wrote a book with Rebecca Crowell, called 'Cold Wax Medium, Techniques, Concepts and Conversations'. A must have for artists working in this medium. We had to create a project during Sally's advanced course in oils and cold wax, and this piece was the culmination of many week's work. I hope you like it.
