On a recent trip to Canada's Capital City, Ottawa, I had the privilege of visiting the Tomb Of The Unknown Soldier and the monument that stands just beyond as a reminder of the sacrifice of so many in a fight for freedom and democracy of World War One 1914-1918.
We think of the men that fought so hard for our freedom but in this manipulated composite photograph I chose to highlight if you will, the "War Horses" that were taken into battle and so very often killed on the front lines of the war. The strength of these horses helped to carry men and supplies into battle and are the "Ghosts Of War".
