A cloud bank, seemingly lit from within, rolls out across Belfast Lough, Northern Ireland.
This image was made as I spotted a storm cloud high above Belfast Lough as I drove my family home from a night out at a restaurant. Cries of 'where are we going dad', 'you've taken the wrong road' ensued after this ethereal vision gripped my soul and dragged me hurtling (we'll perhaps not that fast) towards this magnificent vision.
When I finally arrived at Hazlebank Park, 4 miles north east of Belfast, where I could get an interesting foreground, the cloud bank had reduced somewhat, But still looked otherworldy.
