Original artwork description:

This is a portrait of Georgia O'Keeffe (1887 - 1986), great american painter, after a photo by Alfred Stieglitz. Georgia is one of my favourite painters, best known for her paintings of enlarged flowers, New York skyscrapers and New Mexico landscapes.
Photo is from 1918, with the title: Hands.
In this drawing I put much effort to capture her strong character and special beauty.

Materials used:

graphite pencil on shelleshammer paper, professional fixative spray for protection
