This geometric design was hand printed twice on watercolour paper using Lino with blue and then black waterbased printing ink. The flower was drawn on to lino, which was then carefully cut out using lino cutting tools. Once dry, watercolour pencils and gold and silver ink were painted on top. A Rotring pen was also used to add black ink lines. When the painting is put near light, the gold and silver ink shine.
This is one of several prints using the same lino plate. All are printed in different coloured inks and different paper is used, so all are unique.
