I have included garlic in a few works before but it was good to focus on the challenge of the fragile torn skin and the exact colour of the purple cloves. The result is a lovely little rustic piece perfect for a kitchen or dining room.
Materials used:
Oil paint, linseed oil, dammar varnish, MDF, cotton, rabbit skin glue, gesso.
