Artist's description:

This work is has been inspired by the previous work "Fun at the Fun Fair, after L.S.Lowry"

This work has been inspired by a visit to Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, a few years ago, in particular, the Slot Machines (known as One Arm Bandits) in Casino's on the Strip.

The One Arm Bandit, has an altered sign of "Las Vegas" with words changed “Absolute Fabulous” inspired by the film of the same name, with Post Pop Art Colours.

The wheels of the machine contain, playing Cards, King, Queen, Jack, suggestive of "Elvis" Presley maybe known as the "King" in song "Viva Las Vegas". The HRH Princess of Diana, is the middle card, known as "Queen of Hearts", and the last card "Jack" nod to the card game "Black Jack", "Jack Daniel" whiskey, or "Jack" Dawson in the film Titanic. ,

The background flag contains four-letter words of the element to juxtapose elements of “War & Peace” of USA Flag.

The One Arm Bandit is placed on a Yellow to Pale Yellow background, to suggest the Dessert conditions of the Nevada Dessert or Oil fields of Texas (as in Dallas), also link to Dessert Storm of Gulf War, to take the One Arm Bandit out of context.
