Artist's description:

Mushrooms (Peziza aurantia) in the forest ground. These beautiful small fungus are coloured in brillant red, but I shoot in black and white and then print the photograph by cyanotype process, invented by sir John Herschel in 1842, on Canson Watercolors Paper (300 gr). So, in this image is more important the fungus shape than the contrast of colours. The print is toned by coffee, so the original blu become more deep.

The print is sold matted (30x40 cm mat) but not framed.

Materials used:

paper, chemicals
