Artist's description:

Tepatitlan de Morelos is located in Los Altos (highlands) of Jalisco, Mexico, the proud state which boasts the origin of tequila AND mariachi! Tepa (my birth place, and of my entire family=), as it is lovingly known, is considered the jewel of Jalisco, and which name means "the place of hard rock".

I don't know whose funeral it is, but I suspect that it is the wife of the gentleman in black. The cathedral directly behind is la Parroquia de San Francisco. This extraordinary photo was taken by my uncle and father, and this particular framed artist proof is the first ever print of this magnitude.

Materials used:

Fine art silver rag, metallic, archival paper/ink
