Original artwork description:

Running long distances at times places me in a meditative state. I pass the same landscape each day, but everyday I see something new. About halfway through my run on this particular day, I was struck but the immense clouds which were fluffy white with a hint of an oncoming storm. I came home to my studio and got to work. The dreamlike rolling hills of western Pennsylvania serve as daily inspiration and motivation, to run as well as paint!
