In the winter of 2012, I travelled to the USA for the first time - Manhattan specifically. Visiting Ground Zero was one of the many things I had on my to-do list. There was a great sense of sorrow and reverence throughout the tour, from visiting the museum and seeing the salvageable artefacts, to actually standing where the two towers once stood.
The photo you see above was taken upon repositioning myself with my back to the memorials, and just observing cluster of buildings still standing resolute.
