Original artwork description:

This is a pencil portrait of two friends created around 2006/7. My girlfriend at the time asked if I could draw her Daughter and friend. I spent many hours creating as close to a photographic image as possible using various shades of pencil and shading sticks.
The drawing remained in my possession which I utilised as a demonstration of my shading and technical skills.

This image is a wonderful example of shading, observation and becomes a symbol of the bond two friends share for a lifetime.

Materials used:

Graphite pencil and shading stick on cartridge.
