Artwork description:
The inspiration for the creation of these very thin porcelains came to me by visiting the Museum of Ceramics in Savona.
I wanted to make a work that no one has ever done before. Something new.
So it was that I came up with the idea of creating a sheet with Limogés porcelain.
After many failures I managed to create and decorate thin but resistant sheets of a few tenths of a millimeter thick.
They are fired at 1300 degrees Celsius, so the result is potentially as eternal as the history of the porcelain itself.
Backlit sheets come to life capturing attention.
A small LED system was enough to create this magic.
This work in your collection will go far from unnoticed capturing the visitor's attention.
It is mounted on recovered wooden planks (everything in my philosophy comes from recovery).
What you see is porcelain number 3 of a very limited production just started.
No printing, no transfer.
Comes complete with power supply and securely packaged.
