Artist's description:

'Butterflies and Old Masters' series

This original collage depicts the aristocrat, Lord Ribblesdale, wearing fox hunting clothes. A small red butterfly made from jigsaw puzzle pieces replaces his head, and is indicative of freedom. Fox hunting is controversially banned in the UK as it is seen as cruel and unnecessary. The original image, sourced from a vintage book, is an 'old masters' illustration entitled 'Lord Ribblesdale' and is painted by John Singer Sargent.

Dimensions 204 x 282 mm.

This collage is supplied unframed and unmounted and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

It will be posted in a protective cellophane wrapper and reinforced envelope.

Materials used:

jigsaw puzzle pieces
