Hens love to roam, and so they should, personable and funny birds that they are.

I have first printed the paper, I use plants I have collected and dried, I then dye them and with the help of a heatpress I can transfers them to the paper.
I then print my linocut hens on top in a lovely sooty black and add the red and orange in acrylic ink. These prints are so colorful and so happy, they fit right into a standard frame and are so easy to place, brightening up any space you hang them in. I use the linocut plate again, but have numbered the print as a mono print as the plant prints all come out very different, the plants very quickly crumble and have to be discarded making all prints very different.

The print measures 16" x 20" (40 cm x 50 cm ) and it is signed as a mono print, that is a one of a kind print as all the plant printing comes out very different for each piece of paper.
