This image explores Frankenstein's monster as a symbol of abandonment from the very 'system' that created his life and then disregarded as a monster - when in reality he was a child lost in his own feelings of being abandoned and was feared by others for being different from the consensus 'norm'.

The painting explores a looser form of painting - a sketched form of painting in broad and layered marks.
