The third in the fragile series looking at the fragility of the human condition. Again the fragility is echoed in the burnt and torn canvas and rough textures. This piece looks at labelling. While labels are commonly used to protect or attack they can also confine. The figure is forced to stand straight on in front of the viewer. Her label meant to protect her vulnerability, leaving her exposed and open. She hides as the best she can but her label has become her prison almost coffin like forcing her to expose herself to the world whether she wants to or not. Once labelled by society there is no going back.
