Artist's description:

I spotted these foxgloves growing in a shady spot in the forest near my home while out walking my dog one day and I decided to go back there later and capture them in watercolour. On a hot afternoon, it was a pleasantly cool place to work with butterflies and bees coming by to pay a visit as I worked. Although poisonous, with their long stems and trumpet-blooms, these flowers are rather glamourous wildflowers, offering a dash of colour in the woodland landscape in early summer.

This unique artwork is sold mounted and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
