Every now and again I like to create a standard illustrative woodcut of an animal. Sometimes these will be birds, cats or dogs. On this occasion I created this Fox. The woodcut is a reduction print on Fabriano card and this is the only one created.

I like creating these one off designs, experimenting with reduction printmaking and design. Overall it started out as a design for a bookmark, playing around with wild animals.

The colours are bright and precise and is printed off-centre. A great framer will centre the image if required or you could keep it off-centre.
