This painting is actually a mix between acrylic and watercolor paints. The watercolor part is the background of all the panels and acrylic is the daisy itself. I like mixing the two because they have such a completely different texture. I used watercolor for the backgrounds because its smooth and soft, I thought by splodging the acrylic for my daisy I would make it almost 3D.
I tried using a lot of shading and tones in my daisies as they were obviously the main attraction in the painting.
