Artist's description:

'Everything that rises must converge (II)' has built on from the first series through a increased awareness of nature in southeast Georgia, USA. As a means to connect the landscape to portraiture, references are made to Abstract Expressionism, Richard Long, and the biological attributes of the body. As a means to further accentuate the southern eccentricities and uncanny atmosphere, names were added from particular characters from David Lynch's 'Twins Peaks'. Each image was given the name that personified the ethos of said character. Therefore, the images can be seen as an investigation into a person's psyche and identity.
