Artwork description:

Foggy sunrise over Bagan's 10,000 temples scattered around the dry hot landscape of Central Burma, 2014
Taking this shot involved a flight from the capital Yangon to Mandalay, a 12h boat trip down river to Bagan, 1-hour cycling in the dark at 4am through unlit dirt roads and climbing one of the temples to set camp on the roof in freezing temperatures prior to sunrise. In the end, it was totally worth it!
