Artist's description:

An abstracted painterly piece based on observation of still life objects and flowers. This is a truly mixed media piece with acrylic inks, paints, water-soluble pencils and crayons and watercolour paints. Experimental mark making is a key element of the piece. The work is approximately A1 size, framed behind glass. The painting was selected to appear at The Artist Magazine's annual exhibition at the Patchings Centre in Nottingham in 2012. A completely original work, no reproductions are planned for this piece.

Materials used:

acrylic inks, paints, water-soluble pencils and crayons and watercolour paints. Then work is painted on Bockingford watercolour paper.
