Original artwork description:

Inspired by some of the flowers on my roof terrace and by a recent walk through a lovely summer meadow, I used oil paints and oil bars to make this painting of some real and some imagined flowers. I prepared the canvas by printing with gesso through some lace fabric and then once the work was finished, I sanded some of the paint away to reveal the texture of lace to add depth.
This painting is on canvas and is ready to hang.
