Artist's description:

It was one of those warm, blustery late spring afternoons, with the hope of a blistering summer on the horizon. Overhead was sparkling cerulean; but with distant clouds churning over a slash of darkest indigo with the occasional white-blue flash beneath.

My garden stayed dry while shops in the nearby town were flooded and abandoned by shoppers for an hour or two. That's the British weather for you!
