A moment of serendipity, when Anne was struck by the pattern of leaves floating in a pond at Kew Gardens.
The gentle flow of the water arranged a variety of leaves in slowly moving graceful swirls. The leaves of tree species from around the world found themselves in a new formation, with a new medium to move in, floating in water and no longer rustled by the breeze.
The result, a brightly coloured drifting pattern that held Anne's thoughts, emotions and gaze.
