This is one of my newest pieces. An original oil on canvas painting. Textured abstract landscape made with knife and brush technique. Contrast of warm red, yellow and orange gives an illusion of burning fire. I love sitting by a fireplace and gaze into the flickering flames. I was inspired by that feeling of warmth when painting this abstract. There is so much warmth that you can almost feel the burning flames.
