Artist's description:

From the series 'Point Of Order' , this work is part of an ongoing enquiry into chance and order and the reading of a flat surface.
This series started life way back in 1986 but many of the original drawings were destroyed.
This piece plays with the idea of using 'minimum' information to 'suggest' three dimensions whilst still remaining resolutely two dimensional.
The title 'Flag' is a sideways reference to the 'wave' of a flag which allows a two dimensional object to enter in and out of a three dimensional space. All works in this series are also staggered references to Magritte's "The Treachery Of Images"
The final works in this series are digitally produced and printed on canvas in a strictly limited edition.

This work is sold on stretched canvas.
It is ready to hang. An external frame in not necessary but one can be
provided by Artfinder if required.
