When the tide recedes on Gochang Beach on the west coast of South Korea, access can be gained to the fishing sticks in the mudflats. Using a long exposure to smooth out the water and put movement in the sky, striking abstract images can be created which provide a feeling of zen-like calm and magical quality.
This is one of a series I took during a visit in May 2015. Other images are available in my shop.
The photograph was taken on b+w 120 film, the negative scanned and printed with a slight warm dup-tone on archival inkjet paper.
The print offered is 17x17" with an image size of 15x15", limited edition of 20, numbered and signed on the front, titled on the reverse, and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
An alternative print size of 10x10", image size 8x8" is also available - see my shop
