Artist's description:

From the series "The extent of the catastrophe" find the work "Fisher boats": Color woodcut print made from several print blocks. Although being part of a numbered edition, each print from the series is unlike another as colors and stroke vary.

The work " The extent of the catastrophe" consists of both wood blocks and prints. The subjects refer to press photos, which have been published after the tsunami and nuclear catastrophe. The artistic technique refers to traditional Japanese woodblock print making.

Through a long-term study a growing and changing ensemble of blocks and prints emerges, which aims to confront media volatileness and shrinking public awareness.

Comes as a simple sheet framed in a white deep object frame. The package will be protected by cardboard and carefully wrapped in bubble paper and best protected for mail transport.

The artwork is signed on the front and accompanied with a certificate of authenticity.
