Artist's description:

Several years ago I took my family to the Bronx Zoo in New York. I photographed these magnificently big and colourful goldfish.

My photos became the inspiration for this semi abstract art work. I was reading about the breaking up of the Larsen C shelf in Antartica. The white blocks at the top of the artwork are a nod to the affect of this on wildlife. The goldfish look a bit terrified, to say the least.
