This is a study of light and shadow. I am not a realist and this kind of representation might be the closest I come to realism. Sometimes, I like to add color to a black and white world (which is what I do when I paint from a public domain photo). Here, I did the reverse, and made the colorful world black and white. Some questions to consider or discuss when looking at this piece:
