An evening street view of the Angel at the Kinning Park area of Glasgow. An iconic landmark Maybe seen better days but a stunning sculpture adorns the south turret of the building and points the way to Paisley. The area was a hotbed of activity right up to the 1980s but still retains the majority of its Victorian buildings but suffers due to loss of its river access and most of the industry. There are further gems to paint around it including the rotundas and the Grand Ole (Glasgow) Opry, still the best and only place in Scotland to watch gunslingers in the 1980s. The recent gentrification centred around the BBC headquarters potentially promises to save the area from further decline.
