Original artwork description:

Finding myself standing in front of the painting after nearly finishing it, I found the light in the sky directing me to the distant Tor. The thought then came. How will I travers this waste land, to come home, to find the illumination and rest at the end of my journey. When I paint these paintings I feel the calling and let my brushes do the work. I hope you find your way home too. The painting continues around the side of the canvas giving a 3D effect.
